Seed certification in Brazil
Certification agent
Each state has its own certification agency and has its own standards for seed potatoes, which may be more strict than the federal standards from the Ministry of Agriculture. In all the states the certification agencies fall under the State Secretary of Agriculture.
Classifications
The seed classes are: basic, registered and certified (A, B and C).
