Crop rotation and diseases

"Only the potato production frequencies less that 50% proves to be economically viable."

This is especially when it comes to seed potato a too simple statement.
These pests and diseases play an important role.
Important is:
1) How long an organsme remains in the field,
2) How is reducing the population if no host crop on the field and what are the conditions that determine this reduction.
3) Whether there are other methods of control, and
4) Whether the disease is common in the area and caused only limited damage and loss or the disease is not common, and the damage is caused is substantial.

Several of the diseases mentioned are particularly dangerous in hot climates, others inch ones in cool climates
Various diseases are mainly seed-borne, others are mainly soil-borne

EXAMPLES
Ralstonia (Pseudomonas) solanacearum.BROWNROT
Potato cyst nematodes-Globodera spp.POTATOCYSTNEM
