The table shows the effectiveness of thiabendazole against Fusarium and silverscurf.
However, resistant strains of the fungi Fusarium sulphureum and Helminthosporium solani are widely spread.

After the development of resistance to thiabendazole, a mixture of imazalil and thiabendazole was introduced to replace the single thiabendazole products.

In stores metalaxyl (Ridomil) reduces the spreading of pinkrot and Pythium.

Sodium hypochlorite and antibiotics active against bacteria may be used when tubers are soaked (dipped) in GA-, thiabendazole or imazalil solutions.
